THEY FALL BECAUSE THEY THINK THEY ARE STRONG
1 min readSt. Paul’s case of God’s grace being sufficient for him amidst the torn on his flesh proves that people don’t fall because they are weak. They fall because they think they are strong.
The strength of the strong often proves to be their downfall, while the weakness of the weak often saves them. When we sincerely accepts our weakness, surely the grace of God will be made manifest in our insufficiency.
I pray for the grace of dependency on God in spite of our seemingly perceived gifts and strengths because without God we can do nothing.
