JESUS IS CALLING US TO SHOW CARE, LOVE AND CONCERN TO THOSE AROUND US

“… He took pity on them for they were like sheep without a shepherd, and he set himself to teach them…” An act of kindness is judged, not so much by its importance, but by the disruption it brings in the life of the one who does it.
Jesus is calling us to show care, love and concern to those around us especially the abandoned and forgotten. All of us are capable of caring in one way or the other. Caring needs awareness, sensitivity and sacrifice if we must imitate Christ as against the indifference of the Shepherds in Jeremiah’s time.
I pray God to give us the grace to care for the lonely, unloved and the forgotten. We too are the sheep of Jesus fold. He with a Shepherd’s compassion will guide, feed and protect us through Christ Our Lord Amen!
