Prof. Ezeaku Hands Over To The New Dean Of Faculty of Agriculture

The immediate past Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), Prof. Peter Ikemefuna Ezeaku has enjoined the new Dean of the Faculty, Prof. John Ikechukwu Eze not to betray the confidence which the members of the Faculty reposed in him.

It is this confidence members reposed in you that led to your election as the Dean to enable you bring your wealth of experience to bear on the governance of the Faculty.

According to Prof. Ezeaku, he endeavoured to provide infrastructural facilities to the Faculty despite financial constraints.

He assured the new Dean that, with the facilities on ground in the faculty, generation of revenue to work would be easier for him.

The former Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Ezeaku formally presented and handed over the Faculty to the new Dean, Prof. Eze on Friday, 2 August 2024 and wished him well in his new assignment.

Receiving the handover note, Prof. Eze recognized the invaluable contributions of the immediate past Dean, Prof. Ezeaku, whose painstaking efforts had led to the successes recorded in the faculty over the years.

He assured that he would maintain the academic standard and promised to improve the infra-structural facilities in the faculty.

The new Dean, also solicited the cooperation of the entire members of staff of the Faculty for a successful tenure, saying, a tree does not make a forest.
