I SHALL PUT MY SPIRIT IN YOU AND YOU WILL LIVE
Today is the 5th Sunday of Lent. Next Sunday is Palm Sunday, which ushers us into the Holy Week.
The core of Today’s message is that Jesus came on earth to give the life that cannot be touched by death, the kind of life that only God possesses, and Jesus as God made man, makes it possible for those who believe in him which we are privileged to be part of.
Those who believe in Jesus and follow him enter into a relationship with God, which death cannot end: That is the unification of our animating principle with God. That is what Ezikiel meant when he said, ” I shall put my spirit in you, and you will live.” St. Paul too affirmed it when he told the Romans “if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus Christ from the dead is in you, then he who raised Jesus Christ from the dead will give your mortal bodies eternal life”. My dear beloved, I pray that as we enter the last week before the Holy Week, make space for the spirit of God to have a place in your life that you will come out of this season of Lent a new person in Christ through Christ Our Lord Amen!
