TRAGEDY: ONE OF NSUKKA’S EMINENT JUSTICES, CENTUS C. NWEZE (1958-2023) HAS JOINED HIS ANCESTORS

A very sad breaking news has struck the people of Nsukka Senatorial Zone like a wild fire as Hon. Justice C.C. Nweze, eminent jurist and justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria has gone the way of all mortals.
Justice Nweze died on 31st July, 2023. He hails from Obollo-Eke, in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State. He was appointed a judge 15th Feb. 2008 and promoted to the Supreme Court on 29th October, 2014. Hon. Justice Nweze was educated at the St. John Cross Seminary Nsukka and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Nsukka and indeed the South East region have lost one of their illustrious sons and a fearless justice.
No wonder the philosopher said life is a passing wind as death awaits all mortals.
May the Lord grant his soul eternal repose Amen.
