As we celebrated our children yesterday 27 May, 2025, it is pertinent and imperative to renew our collective responsibility as parents, guardians, educators, and leaders to nurture them with love, discipline, knowledge, and opportunity.
Every child counts, and every child deserves a future filled with hope and promise.
Children are the seeds of tomorrow, the promise of a brighter future, and the most treasured assets of any society.
Their innocence, resilience, and creativity remind us of the purity of purpose and the potential that lies ahead for Nigeria.
As leaders of tomorrow, our children deserve protection, quality education, sound healthcare, and an enabling environment to grow, dream, and thrive.
Kudos to the Executive Chairman of Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area, Barr. Ugo-Ferdinand Ukwueze for his proactive approach to governance. His tactical revitalization of Children’s Day Celebration for almost a decade of abandonment shows that he is focused and not being distracted, and a big testament for his love and progressive mind to the young ones.
The Council Boss during the celebration, expressed delight with children as he reaffirmed his commitment to giving attention to them through quality education and other socio-economic programmes that will aid excellence and competitive learning.
Barr. Ukwueze urged children to be good ambassadors of their homes as the leadership of Igbo-Eze South Local Government would accelerate performance in producing the leading stars in their future.
