Defection of Peter Mbah to APC; Matters Arising
Fellow Labour Party members and supporters in Enugu State,
We stand at a critical juncture in our political journey. Recent events have brought significant changes to the political landscape of Enugu State. The defection of Peter Mbah from the PDP to the APC has generated widespread reactions , and it’s clear that this shift has created uncertainty among some of our members who had previously defected to other parties.
To our members who have remained steadfast with us, I want to express my deepest gratitude. Your loyalty and commitment to our party’s ideals are the bedrock of our movement. We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that our party remains a beacon of hope for the people of Enugu State.
The APC government, which has been in power for some time now, has failed to deliver on its promises. The people of Enugu State have been subjected to poor leadership, lack of vision, and poor governance. The APC’s track record is replete with unfulfilled promises, and it’s clear that they are out of touch with the needs and aspirations of our people.
To our former members who defected to other parties, we extend an open hand of fellowship. We understand that the grass may have seemed greener elsewhere, but the truth is that our party is the only viable alternative that truly understands the needs and aspirations of Ndi Enugu. We invite you to come back home, to join us in our quest for a better Enugu State.
Remember we are not just a party; we are a movement. We are driven by a desire to serve the people of Enugu State with integrity, transparency, and dedication. We will not be deterred by the machinations of those who seek to undermine our progress. Instead, we will continue to work towards building a better future for our people.
To the Labour Party faithful, I urge you to remain resolute and focused. We are on the path to victory, and we will not be swayed by the antics of our opponents. Let us continue to work together, to build a movement that will bring hope and prosperity to the people of Enugu State.Together, we can achieve greatness.
