Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Industrial Pharmacy, UNN holds Ist International Conference

The first International Conference and Exhibition on Pharmaceutical, Herbal and Cosmetic products whose theme was, “Expanding Frontiers of Healthcare Through Emerging Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Technologies” took place February 10 – 12, 2026 at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
The Head of Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Industrial Pharmacy, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Prof. Chukwuma Agubata and the Chairman, Local Organizing Committee, Prof. Godswill Onunkwo made the pronouncement while delivering their opening remarks, also said the virtual conference took place 10 -11 February 2026 and in-person exhibition, 12 February 2026. According to them, the conference featured sub-themes, such as Innovations in pharmaceutical production, Novel drug delivery technologies, advances in herbal formulations and their standardization and Cosmetic products and skin health.
Others, according them were Nutra – ceuticals, Hygiene and one health, life sciences and biotechnology in healthcare product development and Pharmaceutical analysis in quality assurance.
