Existential Reflection (4)
1 min readMy <Days After Occupying my Current Office
One existential fact that stares everyone in the face is that change is constant. Today, you are the boss, tomorrow, you may be the subject. Today, many people are answerable to you; tomorrow, you may be answerable to others. Yes, whether you accept it or not, you will not remain in that office forever.
Be informed that your ‘gratuity’ or ‘pension’ after your days in your current office depends on how you used your current office to either build bridges or build walls; to either marginalize your subjects or treat them well. Never forget this existential fact: How you behave in your office today will go a long way to determine how people will behave to you after your days in the office. This karmic and existential truth remains indubitable: Whatever one sows today, one will reap tomorrow.
Are you in charge of any group, association, community or any geographical area today? Or are you thinking of being in charge of any group of people tomorrow? Then, always ask yourself these and the related existential questions: What will be my lot after my days in the office? What will I be remembered for after my days in the office? Your sincere answer(s) to these existential questions will help to shape your thoughts, ways and attitudes for a better human relationship today and tomorrow. Note : It’s not yet too late to make amend: taa bu gboo.
Happy Weekend my people!
