FAITH GOES WITH PATIENCE, TOLERANCE AND PERSISTENCE IN PRAYERS
1 min readToday’s readings centred on inclusiveness of all people in the family of God’s people.
The poor woman who dared the humiliation and indifference of Christ over her child’s health challenges is a good example of what we term “tough faith”.
Faith goes with patience, tolerance and persistence in prayers. Christ tested her faith and she proved her faith in the healing power of Christ. Though a non-Jew but she was not shut-out of the mercy of God. Just like the first and the second readings, God does not segregate, we all are children of God notwithstanding our religious affiliations.
I pray for the grace of this “tough faith” in your life when the vicissitudes of life challenges our faith in God.
May we also hear the inner voice of God “My child your faith has saved you.”
Happy Sunday dearest in Christ!
Fadafido cares!
