HE GAVE US IN ABUNDANCE NOT TO HOARD BUT TO SHARE WITH ONE ANOTHER
1 min readFor Jesus to work miracles in our lives, we need to provide the raw materials, our share of bread and fish like the lad in today’s gospel passage. It may be meager, but it does not matter. Only when we do what we can, Jesus will finish what we can’t.
As we are experiencing the most excruciating economic situation, try to put a smile on that poor neighbour of yours that has no plan of where the next meal will come from. He gave us in abundance not to hoard but to share with one another. Elisha and the little boy have taught us to be generous with the little we have and the Lord will multiply beyond our expectations.
I pray for the spirit of compassion and generosity especially now that food has become a scarce resources in our society to enable us imitate the heroes of today’s message, Elisha and the poor lad.
Happy Sunday beloved in Christ!
