JAMB AND NIGERIA – A NATION IN DESPERATE SEARCH FOR IGBO FALL: WHAT HAS THE IGBO MAN DONE?
“We shall overcome”

Nigerians are clapping for JAMB’s organizational failures. In a civilized culture, this man shouldn’t have waited for this long. He should have taken the exit door like weeks ago. I tell you most honestly, it’s all about tribalism and nepotism, another dimension to the marginalization of the Igbo. That’s why no action will be taken against those who committed this inexcusable sin against Ndigbo.
Come to think of it, this is taking a toll on us, the Igbos, but in the absence of Igbo leadership with balls, what can we do?
In this country people are put in positions they lack the capacity and capability to handle? Where is this country headed? What is this crocodile tears for? When a man fails in his duty and responsibilities, the honorable thing to do is to take the exit door. This is the standard amongst people who wish to develop and make progress.
A monumental blunder of this magnitude does not require tears. It requires the exit door. It means giving chance to who can do it.
But, on close examination, why the South East? We are talking of the entire South East nation: five states and Lagos that is mostly populated by the South Easterners and somebody is talking of a glitch and trying to explain it away by shading crocodile tears. What a nation! What a people trying to destroy a generation of young people whose only offense is that they are intelligent beings and make extra effort to put Nigeria’s name in the globe.
Just imagine they are talking about a repeat examination without any consideration for the psychological trauma. Can anyone save this nation from the endless ills that is bedeviling her. If yes, by who?
During the last election, they talked about a “glitch” and ended up putting the whole nation into a blazing furnace which nearly destroyed the entire nation. What a shame of an institution! What a shame of a nation. JAMB, just understand that there is no stopping the Igbo child. It’s our destiny.
