TODAY TO WAIT AND TO WATCH IS ALL THAT WE ARE TOLD TO DO
1 min readHappy first Sunday of advent. Today we are privileged to enter into a new year in the Church calendar. The watch word in today’s admonition is WAIT AND WATCH! In other words we are called to be awake and vigilant as well in wait for the coming of Christ. We can always wait with what Pope JohnPaul II termed “WATCH”
W= Words, watch what kind of spoken words you throw to your neighbour.
A= Action, what motivates your action? Is it for selfish reason or for the sake of Christ
T= Thoughts, we need to watch what fills our thoughts these period of advent.
H= Heart, we need to watch what we inhabit in our hearts. I pray that God will give you the grace to be really WATCHFUL AND VIGILANCE throughout this advent period for a fulfilled joy of Christmas.
