WE HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD IN OUR HEARTS ASKING US, “WHERE ARE YOU?”

When we do wrong we try to hide from the consequences. In an attempt to hide from God we hide from ourselves too. However, there is someone who seeks us out.

We hear the voice of God in our hearts asking us “Where are you?” God is not indifferent to us. God keeps pursuing us even when we hide from him as Adam and Eve did today. He does so not to punish us but to get us to face our actions. He loves us enough to forgive our sins but He wants us to take responsibility for them and as well, atone for our sins.

Adam and Eve trembled at the voice of God because they were ashamed of their sins. God is also asking us the same question today “Where are you in your relationship with me?”

My prayer for you today is that you do not see this voice as a threat but as a help. It is the voice of one who cares about us.

May God give you the grace to return back to Him if you are already outside the region of grace through Christ Our Lord Amen!
