When Jesus made an allusion to giving someone a cup of cold water because that person belongs to him, it is an indication that a help must not be big for it to worth the name. It might be a small help but with big heart of love than big help with no heart of love.
A small deed can bring comfort to a person provided it has a certain quality. That quality is warmth of love. All deeds that comes from the heart have that quality. Giving is at the heart of the Gospel. It is of the very essence of Christianity especially within these trying and excruciating moments in our country’s economy. It therefore means that through giving the heart remains open and the one becomes a loving person.
Learn to give with big love than giving a gift that lacks love.
