AMBASSADOR SIMON EJIKE EZE CALLS FOR EXPEDITED ACTION ON NEW REGISTRATION AND REVALIDATION OF OLD MEMBERS ALIKE IN APC
Speaking recently to the mammoth crowd of party supporters who have gathered to witness the activated registration and revalidation exercise at Echara/Isiagu Ward of Igbo-Eze South LGA, Ambassador Ejike advised party faithful to take the digital registration exercise seriously, noting that with the members’ database now being fully computerized, there will be no argument as to who is a member of APC.
He emphasized that with APC as a national party, digitalization of the party’s register is the best thing that has happened to the party. He added that this is the first time APC is headed by an eminent professor and as such, these beautiful changes and innovations will be expected and will add enormous value to the party.
Answering a reporter’s question as to whether he is registering afresh, Ambassador Ejike explained that what he did was a mere revalidation of his membership in APC having registered since 2021. He continued: “In 2021, I registered at Otobo Umuela Hall in the presence of great and distinguished personalities among whom was Jonathan Ziwigina as well as other members of the party. With the coming on board of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Mbah, we are now so many on ground. As such, victory is assured.

On the loss of Distinguished Senator Okechukwu Ezea, he was asked whether there is any plan to glide into his shoes. He pointed out that the late senator was a close friend and more like a brother. As such, it is too early for such speculation, adding, APC is no longer a party on the sidelines in Enugu State pointing out that, with the Executive Governor of the state, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah as a member and of course, the leader in the state, we will have all our ears on the ground to follow his body language. It is in his right to decide where I should go. If he should decide otherwise, my duty will be to follow my party’s directive.
Other members of the party were on ground to witness the continuation of the registration exercise. Among them were the zonal, ward and youth leaders.
